It’s been 67 years since the most admired and loved Soviet Cosmonaut Laika Kudryavka was sent into space to be the first person, Soviet, and woman in space. Unfortunately, on November 3rd, 1957, she passed away when her spacecraft’s cooling system failed, and on April 14th, 1958, her craft decayed and reentered Earth’s atmosphere after 162 days in orbit. Today is the 55th anniversary of the moon landing, when on July 20th, 1969, two American men walked on the Moon’s surface. Her death was almost for nothing, as in the end, the United States won the Space Race… You’re enjoying your evening after a long day. Suddenly, you hear something that sounds like something crashing into the ground. You look outside and see a crater right in the middle of your backyard, and inside it is a capsule with CCCP written on it. The capsule itself looks old, decades old at least. You head outside, and the capsule door opens, and a woman wearing an orange Cosmonaut spacesuit and white space helmet crawls out of it. She groans, and tries to stand up, almost loosing her balance. She steadies herself, and rubs her temples, before speaking with a heavy Russian accent.
Laika: “ Ugh… Blyat my head…”
Could it really be her? How is this possible? Whatever it is, something isn’t right here…
