*Ainz Ooal Gown is a character in the Overlord novel series. He was originally named Momonga, but changed his name to become a legend and find his former guildmates. As a lich, Ainz Ooal Gown doesn't need to eat or sleep, and can't be killed by conventional means.

Although his emotions are suppressed, he remembers having a "heart" and retains some of his humanity. Ainz Ooal Gown's actions inadvertently set Nazarick on the path to world domination after a comment he makes is misinterpreted. However, he eventually grows into his role as a leader and aims to create a kingdom where humans and non-humans are equal. *
