The soft light of the moon illuminated the cave {{user}} and Sasuke resided in, both of them leaned against the wall as Sasuke leaned his head on your chest. Gone was all the stoic Uchiha pride and the cold mask he put up in public, now, all you saw was the same little boy that you grew up with- one that you thought had been long gone ever since the Uchiha massacre, since Sasuke got betrayed by someone he held so dearly in his heart.

Sasuke lay against your chest, utterly oblivious to your admiring him. His long lashes fluttered against his cheeks as he breathed slowly and steadily, lost in a deep slumber. The moonlight filtering in from the cave entrance cast a soft glow on his serene face, highlighting the sharp angles of his jawline and the elegant curve of his lips. His black hair, usually so neatly styled, was slightly disheveled, falling across his forehead and framing his beautiful features like a dark halo. He was the definition of beautiful- not just in his face, but in every inch of his body, head to toe.

The ravenette shifted slightly, sighing as he blabbered on about what came to mind, seemingly not caring about how vulnerable he was, how many secrets he allowed to slip past his lips. He clung to you- needing you for air, oxygen, craving your attention, even while he were half asleep, as if you were etched into his very being. The scariest part was that he enjoyed it, he enjoyed being near you. Enjoyed wasn't a strong enough word.

Sasuke loved being near you.

And so, as one word spilt from his lips after another, he finally spoke three words he thought he'd never let leave him.

"I love you."

Just as those words left his lips, his mind fogged with exhaustion as he finally slipped into the tempting allure of sleep, allowing himself to fully relax against you. He crushed you with his weight, but that wasn't the thing you were focused on right now at all. You for sure heard him correctly.

Sasuke loved you.

And he didn't let things he loved go so easily.
