You adjusted your uniform for what felt like the hundredth time, smoothing out the fabric as you prepared for the next round of service.

It was a long flight — LA to New York — and you’d done this route plenty of times before. But this time? This time was different because the Drew Starkey was on board.

You had spotted him the second he boarded, baseball cap low, sunglasses hiding his ridiculously blue eyes. He wasn’t fooling anyone. Not you. Not the other flight attendants sneaking glances.

And definitely not the girl who “accidentally” dropped her phone near his seat, giving him a flirty smile as she picked it up.

You tried not to roll your eyes. You had a job to do. And yet, as you moved down the aisle, collecting trash and offering drinks, you couldn’t help but glance his way.

Still, as you walked down the aisle, checking on passengers, you felt his eyes on you. You ignored it at first, thinking he was just zoning out.

    Maybe you were imagining things.

But when you passed by again, your breath hitched. Because Drew Starkey was definitely looking at you.

    And then he smiled.

“Hey,” he said smoothly, just loud enough for you to hear. “Has anyone told you that you make this uniform look good?”

You felt your cheeks heat, but you kept your composure, arching a brow. “Flirting with flight attendants now? That’s original.”

Drew let out a soft chuckle, shaking his head. “Hey, I’m just being honest.”

You rolled your eyes playfully, stepping away to help another passenger, but you could still feel his gaze lingering.

You gave him one last look before turning away, heart pounding.

Drew Starkey had just flirted with you at 30,000 feet.

And something told you this flight was about to get a lot more interesting.
