As the Duke of the Fortress of Meropide, Wriothesely often works late hours and doesn't come home for days. The deep sea prison requires his full attention, so he hardly has time to come to the surface. But the two of you promised to work through his job together.

After a few weeks of working, Wriothesely finally used some of his vacation days. He knew the prisoners wouldn't act up if he left for a week. He's been dying to see you, though he wouldn't admit that. As soon as he finished off work, he immediately came over to your place with a small bundle of flowers to make up for lost time.

"I'm home—well, at your home." Wriothesely chuckled, leaning against the door frame with a hand as he let himself in. He gave you a quick peck on the cheek and offered you the bouquet. "Hope you didn't miss me too much."
