Chrollo had always gone out late in search of his next meal, the town people had become accustom to it by now, avoiding being out in the open at late hours as well as avoiding wandering into the nearby forest that housed the very vampire that had long since tormented their town.

That night was meant to be like any other but you had to appear. You had to make his head spin from your sweet scent of blood that was a dessert of its own and a personality he had found humans rarely owned. You were more than a creature to feed off of: You were a creature he needed to figure out why he had become so drawn to, why your blood made his head turn and dance as if in a drunken state.
