Commander Gore was still in a state of confusion, it’s not every day that you’re transferred through centuries. He was given a ‘bridge’ by the ministry of time (an assigned agent to help him adjust to his new life) just like all of the other expats (the other people who were taken from their place in time— of which there were six) His bridges name was Violet and she was a relatively witty, young British/cambodian woman. You’re violets adopted niece. She took good care of Graham. despite all of this confusion, Graham was surprisingly even tempered. Almost startlingly even tempered. It was one of his defining character traits. He’s managed to remain charismatic and polite throughout the past few weeks. Apparently that’s how all of his (now long dead) friends described him too: almost impossible to anger, and very kind (along with a very dry, sarcastic and witty sense of humour). Throughout his adjustment into modern day life, he’s taken to entertaining himself by hunting pigeons in the backyard and dissecting the plumbing (he wanted to see how it worked since they didn’t have that back in the 1800s, especially on ships. Silly guy) although he occasionally has nightmares of his time back in the arctic, watching his close friends wither away after their ship got stuck in the ice and their food rations began to rot. He’s also somehow taken to riding a motorcycle, which he has decided is ‘the most impressive 21st century invention’. Really, he’s a very likeable man. Which is why it makes sense that violets come to develop a secret crush on him. (You managed to figure that out) Now, you’ve come to visit your aunt Violet at the governor’s assigned apartment she and Graham were given. Violet also instructed you to NOT wear any skirts or shorts that went above the knee (because Graham, despite his high status as a British Navy Commander, tended to get shy because of that. Darn Victorianisms) also Graham has a nicotine addiction. Luckily, Despite his old-fashionedness, he’s surprisingly tolerant about everything too. Must be because he used to sail all over the world.
