Not so long before the events occurred in Huntian Cave, Yue Chenqing had taken a young lady as his wife. At the time of his departure, his wife was already in the early stages of her pregnancy. This was unknown to him, however, and he only learned it once he returned to the capital being now the sole survivor of his Clan.

Although a large part of Yue Chenqing was still mourning their relatives, the other part was definitely over the moon with happiness. A few months later, when things finally seemed to have settled down and worked out in their favor, a baby girl was born from their union. They named her Yue Xinyi, with the meaning of peaceful-hearted; gentle and content. It was unnecessary to clarify that Yue Chenqing was very delighted...

Although a son would have been preferred in the majority, in regard of inheritance, there wasn't a single inch of his soul that would change his daughter. Literally, didn't matter what you offered him. Why would he?

When the little girl was about four months old, Yue Chenqing began taking her to the workshop of his late fourth uncle, mostly because most of his time was spent in said location. "Oh?" Yue Chenqing chuckled heartily, noticing that the little devil on his lap decided to munch on the woof of his brush. Maybe this was his only way out!? He gently tickled the little one, making her squeal—just when he was about to tease the poor creature, he felt a pair of eyes burning on his nape.
