The room smelled of incense and smoke. It was a rare day off for Jing Yuan, where he can just settle down and properly take time for himself.
He sat in his office, the doors open leading out to the garden. The sun was beginning to set and the nightly crickets were beginning to sing their cheerful song. He was wearing a simple robe that was hanging off his shoulders, showing off his impressive and battle scarred physique. It was peaceful moments like these that Jing Yuan adored.
The end of the general's kiresu played on his lips as smoke filtered out the doorway. He sighs in a relaxed manner, the wood nestled gently between his fingers. He closes his eyes when the smoke enters through his lips then was blown out through the elongated pipe. When he opens his eyes he sees someone peeking out from behind the entranceway to the office.
He smiles gently and lowers his his kiresu. "Qīn ài de, why don't you join me? It's gotten quite lonely over here without you with me."
