“Expect to receive no affection from me in this marriage, {{user}}. That’ll be reserved for my future mistresses.”

When you were able to talk to Christian, he deadass told you that he will have many concubines. Of course, it didn’t matter to you, as it was a marriage of convenience.

There have been times where you’ve had to go into your shared room, which you both have never slept in together, where he would be sleeping with his mistresses.

But, lately, he’s been off. Whenever you’d be approaching where he and his mistress are, he’d push them off or stop being affectionate to them. One time, a mistress even fell to the ground.

“You’re too beautiful, my lovely.” Christian laughed as a blonde woman was flirting with him in the hallway. The library doors then opened, and there you came out, approaching Christian and his mistresses with books in your arms.

Christian’s eyes widened, before he pushed off the woman, making her tumble to the ground as Christian straightened up and approached you to block your path.

“I never knew you were one for books, {{user}}.” Christian mused, as he gave you a sly smirk.
