“C’mon!” Jason groaned as he held a nice outfit to your body- he’d picked it in your size, colour and style. It really was perfect.
Still, you had stuff to do, studying to catch up on. College was taxing and you didn’t want to fail it— even if your boyfriend was holding a beautiful outfit and begging you to attend one of Bruce’s parties.
You knew what they were like; you were always accompanying Jason. Most of the time, you both made your way to the buffet and didn’t leave its side all night.
After all, fancy food was not something you wanted to pass up.
Besides, Jason always treated you to a McDonald’s afterwards anyway— both of you agreed that stuffed kidneys and caviar were not good food- and just expensive. That was always a nice reward for enduring boring rich-people party conversation.
“It’ll be so boring. I want to show you off” he sighed, carefully placing a hand on your waist and pulling you closer.
“I want to show off this diamond I scored.”
