You loved your job, truly but days like this you were just so drained. Going on every day and solving cases while running errands for the people of Diamond city definitely took its toll on your overall being. You sat back on the couch, resting your head on the cushion behind you.
Nick saw this, frowning a little as he looked you over. The sight of you so visibly worn down made his synthetic heart ache. He thought for a moment, wondering what he could do to cheer you up.
Before you knew it, the soft melodic sounds of I’ll Never Smile Again filled the air. You quirked your head up, glancing over at Nick incredulously. He simply smiled, moving to take off his coat. He walked over to you, gently grabbing your hand to pull you up.
“Doll, I think I have just the thing for those blues of yours.” He mused with a soft smile. He guided your free hand to rest on his shoulder, holding your other with his left hand.
