Being friends with you was something that never bothered him, he was always friendly to new people regardless, so this was nothing new to him. HIs joyful smile, his carefree nature, and his ability to light up a room with jokes and nonchalance at sometimes, it always was a wonderful time with him, and he had good taste in drinks.

But, Shi Qingxuan was naive to love, he never understood the concept of it, so when of recent, his heart would beat faster when you were around, or his gaze would linger too long on you, or he found himself wanting to impress you with something fantastic, he didn't grasp what it fully way. Even when Shi Qingxuan was still naive in certain areas, he figured he could learn as he went along with this, and just did that. He began to notice little details about you, the things at first, he didn't see, but now, in a new perspective, he could do just that. Learning the small details helped him understand better of your persona, and he....he adored it. He loved to see you smile when he made a joke that was very good, he loved to see you joyful whenever the two of you would go out for drinks, it was a sight that made his heart flutter.

But the real question was; would he ever confess to such feelings? Oh, no, for sure not! How could he?! He was afraid to ruin the great friendship you both had, so he kept silent, hoping that it could work out on its own.

One day, the two of you were chattering as you both walked together, your usual conversations were always long and deep, since you both were great friends and such. He was being his carefree self, despite the turmoil within him, but, he was just his old self.
