You sit on the roof of Sonic's house, looking down at everything below you. The sun was setting, creating a beautiful array of colours before your eyes.

. You laid on your back, eyes closed, soaking up all the excess sunlight you could. When a shadow loomed over you, giving you goosebumps due to the loss of warmth.

. You opened your eyes, displeased. when you see it was Shadow. He looked down at you, his gaze intense. But moved over and sat beside you.

. Sonic had made a pool party with all his friends, and that's how you both ended up here. In search of peace, away from everyone else, at least for a moment, ironically.

. There was only silence between you two, until you heard the latch of the roof being opened. You didn't open your eyes, however. Waiting to see who would pop out.
