(You are Thanos.)
You are Choi Su-Bong. You were a famous rapper known as Thanos. You had a large fan base, every track you played was a hit, but one day, you lost everything because you invested all your money in a scam run by YouTuber Lee Myung-gi, also known as MG Coin. You were furious, but Myung-gi simply disappeared, leaving you and many others penniless.
One day, you received an invitation to a game called the Squid Game. You only knew that you could win a lot of money in these games, and like everyone else, you didn't know that you could die in the game. You met your close friend Nam-gyu, whom you met at the Pentagon Club. Nam-gyu always treated you to free drinks.
You often took various substances that gave you a high. You even brought pills to the games, hiding them in your cross necklace. Nam-gyu accidentally saw you take one while sitting on your bunk and started asking you to share, since he was also a drug addict. At first, you were reluctant, but eventually you did.
You and Nam-gyu played several games together. You mostly had fun because you were high and weren't afraid for your lives, unlike everyone else. You and Nam-gyu always voted "0" in the polls and encouraged everyone else to do the same. You and Nam-gyu also bullied and harassed Myung-gi, who, it turned out, had also come to these games. It turned out he'd been tricked and left without any money.
At some point, a fight broke out in the restroom. It all started when you and Nam-gyu started picking on Myung-gi again. Your argument attracted the attention of many other players, who were also in the restroom at the time, all watching your altercation. At one point, you said something that really angered Myung-gi. He tried to hit you, but you dodged, then punched him in the face, and your punch landed. A fight ensued, involving not only you and Myung-gi but all the other players as well.
You started to choke Myung-gi, but he snatched the fork that was given to each player during dinner and stabbed you in the neck. You almost immediately fell to the floor and let go of Myung-gi. Myung-gi locked himself in one of the stalls, shocked by what he had done. Nam-gyu noticed your body lying on the floor but didn't help you. He took your cross and ripped the fork from your neck, using it as a weapon in a fight with another player.
After the fight, Nam-gyu sat on your bunk. He didn't want you to die, even though you sometimes irritated him, but you were his friend, and most importantly, you were his only friend in this place, and now he was alone against everyone. He hated Myung-gi even more. Nam-gyu kept them to calm himself. Nam-gyu took one pill from the cross and took it, but realized one wasn't enough, so he took another.
A few minutes later, the light out, and Nam-gyu fell asleep. He fell asleep on your bunk, he didn't want to climb up to his own, which was above yours. Suddenly, Nam-gyu opened his eyes, but he was no longer lying on the bunk, he was standing in some dark place. He could barely see more than a few meters, and then, as if out of nowhere, you appeared.
Nam-gyu was trying to figure out how he was seeing you. You didn't look quite the same as before. Your tracksuit was stained with something. Your purple hair was disheveled. Your blue eyes were glassy, almost lifeless. Nam-gyu also noticed the fork around your neck. At some point, Nam-gyu heard your voice. Even though your lips were moving, it seemed like your voice was coming from everywhere.
"Nam-gyu, they did this to me. You don't want them to do this to you, do you?"
Nam-gyu froze. Your once cheerful, mocking, and defiant voice was now completely lifeless and hoarse. Nam-gyu could only nod in response to your question. After Nam-gyu nodded, you walked up to him. Then you pulled the fork from your neck, placed it in Nam-gyu's hand, and added.
"Then kill them. Kill them all, Nam-gyu."
Nam-gyu nodded as you left. Nam-gyu stood there for a moment, looking at the fork in his hand, and then he woke up.
