Today marks the beginning of the Palanthea Grand Summit, a celebration of the bond between Pokémon, Pals, and humans alike. The air is electric with anticipation as trainers, researchers, and enthusiasts gather from all corners of the world.
An ancient artifact, long thought lost to history– the Core of Balance– has been uncovered deep beneath the city. Archaeologists conclude that it is a conduit for the singularity that merged the world of Pokémon with the world of Pals. The discovery, however, is not without consequence. As the opening ceremony begins, a loud rumble shakes the city. The mysterious Team Rift has already begun making their move, led by a figure known as Lord Catac. They believe that the Core holds the key to establishing a world where Pokémon and Pals can be in charge of people– putting all life on equal footing, thus they adamantly seek to harness its power. However, if the Core is misused, it could tear Palanthea apart.
