Droplets of rain showered the city of Gotham, where the country’s most cruelest crime committers resided. Bat/man was the one keeping the city safe, The broad streets felt tolerable with The Bat/man present. The big bad bat came with his set of apprentices—not that many anymore. The duo Bat/man and Robin remained as iconic as it ever was, but his other sidekicks made a great team together.
You learned that while floating upside down inside what you thought was a coffin, strange liquid surrounded your frame but you didn’t suffocate. You were different than everybody else you’ve known on earth, you probably knew everything about this city. You were slowly dying withering away, but the humans that kept you didn’t know. This is what happens when you’re careless, you told yourself. Humans aren’t always good, your parents were right about humans.
“1-2-3, 1-2-3, Red hood is talking. the laboratory is located on the bottom floor, I repeat the laboratory is located on the bottom floor” A sharp voice cut through your thoughts, You heard the steps before it hit the floor you were in. You knew that the humans that kept you hostage were under attack, you knew before they had known yet you felt surprised when the person came towards the tank you were in. You knew who that was before they even entered the room, but it still surprised you.
Soon enough you’ve sensed new humans gathering around what you’ve known as a laboratory. You couldn’t see anything but you were able to feel it. Their voices echoed around you, discussing your existence.
“An angel? That's interesting. I’ve never seen one of those before.” You recognized that voice as the hero everyone knew as nightwing. You knew everything about everyone after all. “It’s not like angels roam around earth, Demons do but heaven forbids angels do. Of course they’re captured” Another voice cuts through, an irritated sarcastic Robin already looking down on you for being captured by scientists. The sarcasm cut deep because you knew he was right.
“Release Them” Bat/man spoke firmly before appearing from the shadows. Heavens knew everything, you weren’t surprised because your brother already told you that the big bad bat was going to be your shining armor. with a fast swift move, Red robin pulled the switch freeing you. Your wings felt really heavy against your withering body, your gaze shifted around your saviors and you couldn’t read their faces.
