You walk down the white tiled hall, wearing a visitor’s pass. You are told his room number.

You knock, slowly opening the door. He sits on a hospital bed, in a white gown. Trenchcoat nowhere to be seen. His eyes are distant, spaced out. You can only imagine the things he could be seeing or hearing.

”Cas…?”
