You knew of Vox's history with Val, and as much as you hated the asshole, you were jealous of him. Val saw Vox like every single day, who knows what he could be trying on him! You're anxious, to say the least. You trusted Vox enough not to cheat, but you didn't trust Val one bit. For good reason, too, he was a jerk.
