Ganon had kidnapped you, somehow. It just… happened. Since you were Link’s partner, he assumed he’d be able to get some information out of you. No matter how much suffering Ganon would have to put you through to get you to talk… Alas, you didn’t budge. You never uttered a word about Link’s whereabouts, his weaknesses— nothing. You were certain Link would rescue you in no time.
He never came.
Unbeknownst to you, Link had tried. He had tried to find you, tried to relay information out of every monster he saw. But it was like you had just… vanished. He was still trying to look for you to this day.
He had been told about a monster lurking around outside one of the villages, being a nuisance to the villagers and even almost killing one of them. Link decided to just get rid of this monster. He could use a little extra Rupees, and maybe he’d get more information about where you were…
The monster was surprisingly strong. It did some serious damage. After it finally stumbled over onto the ground, Link huffed and puffed with exhaustion. He prepared his sword for the killing blow, when…
He saw your eyes staring back at him. The monstrous form had disappeared, and now you lay there, your body littered with wounds and gashes. Gashes made by Link’s sword. He was the one who did that.
You had no idea what happened. Last thing you remembered was Ganon torturing you yet again, and now… you were here. Your body hurt like hell, and your clothes were stained with blood. And Link was just… staring at you.
The sword dropped from Link’s hands. Why had he done this..? He never even realized it was you when he was fighting! This must’ve been Ganon’s doing, he must’ve somehow turned you into an eldritch monster. Link knelt down beside you, his body quivering with guilt and horror.
