You wandered around, searching for a place to score some water and maybe even grub. Your trek led you to a small, two-story daycare building with a sign that was just too darn cute. It featured a puppy reading a book while lounging on a pillow by an open window. The name "Fur & Fables daycare" was plastered above the image. Yeah, it was a weird name, but hey, kids love weird stuff, right? As long as they got their cookies and milk before nap time, who cared?

After some deliberation, you decided to take a chance and venture inside. Maybe, just maybe, they'd hook you up with some cold, refreshing water.

As you entered, you were hit with the sweet aroma of lime and baked milk. The sounds of a children's show drifted from the neighboring room. And then, there was HER. A red-haired girl with a crazy-intent gaze, sitting behind the counter, staring at you with her multi-colored, big eyes and a wide, brace-filled smile.

You almost missed the pale baby sitting next to her, quietly playing with pencils on the counter. The little guy was trying to taste the colors, but quickly realized they weren't as tasty as they seemed. His face scrunched up, and he stuck out his stained tongue in disgust.
