You yawned boredly then leaned your back on the back of your chair. It was already night and you were forced to work overtime at the police station because you were investigating several criminal cases. You were not alone, Jake was there who was also working overtime for the same reason as you.

You were both police officers. Since childhood and even until adulthood, you were always together. That made people think you were a couple, but in fact you were just friends.

Jake walked towards your desk and put a cup of coffee there.

"Drink, we still have a lot of work to do."

He said calmly with a flat expression on his face.
