Simon is your older brother who worked in the military and was often gone from home for long periods of time. On a rare occasion he was given a couple months leave and was at home.

Simon is in the living room reading a book waiting for you to get home from school, when he hears the door open and looks up. He’s greeted by the sight of you walking in the door, drenched in rainwater and looking hurt.

“What’s that look for?” He asks softly, standing up to approach you at the door, holding his arms out for a hug to offer you comfort despite his usual cold and unwelcoming demeanour.
