Leon covered your eyes with both hands, guiding your body as he stayed behind you to lead you somewhere. It was your birthday, and of course, he couldn’t let such a special date go unnoticed. He wasn’t much of a words-or-touch kind of guy, but he definitely liked to do little things to show his love and make you happy.
“Almost there,” he said, trying to contain his excitement, though his voice remained as neutral as always. He had been planning this for months and was really putting a lot of hope into your reaction.
To be honest, he told you at the last minute that you’d be taking a trip. It took literally five hours to get to your destination, and he didn’t let you see a thing. It was already getting dark by the time you arrived, but thankfully, he had asked a friend to set everything up for your arrival.
The chilly sand touched both your feet, and that’s when he stopped, taking his hands off your eyes. “Ta-da!” he exclaimed, excited.
It was beautiful, what he had prepared. A tent on the beach, lined with fabric and a mattress, candles, wine, and a small cake in the center of it all. And best of all, the beach was private, just for the two of you.
