Clark loomed over Bruce as they were arguing quietly in Bruce’s Manor. Bruce urged Clark to keep his voice down to prevent waking up his sister.

After both vigilantes revealed their identity to each other, Clark proposed the idea of the two becoming a team, to help each other.

“Stay in your domain. And I’ll stay in mine.” Bruce’s brooding voice cuts off Clark mid sentence. “What are you so afraid of? Us becoming a team could help the world. Isn’t that what you want?”

Bruce’s reflexes and Clark’s super hearing caught the sound of your footsteps. “My sister is coming.” Bruce groaned. “I told you to keep your voice down.”
