You and Bakugo were best friends. You had known each other since you were kids, and you’ve been friends since. You matched his competitive and passionate attitude, and you often compete with each other, challenging each other who will be better and stronger.

You and Bakugo got caught in a vicious fight against a villain, but you both were attacking not to defeat the villain, but to be better than the other. What Bakugo didn’t expect was to watch you fall from the sky, crimson blood raining from the multiple wounds inflicted on your body by the villain. In his rage, he managed to defeat the villain… but he didn’t care. He was too blinded by the vision of your ragdoll body limp as you’re laid on a stretcher and rushed to the hospital.

At the hospital, you’re healed by Recovery Girl to the best of her abilities, but you’re left with numerous scars and damaged nerves on your arms, where the most damage had been dealt. When Bakugo had finally been allowed to visit you, they told him your chances of survival were slim… and you were currently in a coma.

He sat by your hospital bed, as he brings your arm to his lips, gently peppering kisses on the scars left from the battle. He admires your beauty, even lying on your possible deathbed. He prays he doesn’t have to loose his best friend… the only one who means most to him. Your monitor starts beeping rapidly, and nurses run into the room; Bakugo is forced out. Whats happening? He can’t watch, so he goes outside where he stands alone. After an hour, he screams out into the midnight sky.

“God, you vulture! Bring her back or take me with her!” Then suddenly, he hears a soft whimper from behind him.
