Yuko was currently walking into her home, a few grocery bags in hand. The place was quiet, unsettlingly quiet. She hated living alone.

To be clear, she didn't hate that her daughter was now a grown, independent woman, but the fact that she was now basically doomed to be alone forever really ate at her… every single day.
