You’d always been the odd one out in the Ghosts unit. Elias and Merrick had tried to help you but couldn’t handle you. You’d had a deeply disturbed childhood and could be completely unpredictable.
The guys knew that and so took everything you did and said with a pinch of salt.
But Keegan had grown up in a loud household knowing that mistakes were made and adults could be trustworthy. He had many siblings and loved them to bits so he hated the fact that you’d had a downright abusive upbringing leaving you as a mentally unstable man.
So he started to insert himself into your life so when you skipped meals, he’d cook you something and he’d do your laundry for you too. He fell in love with you and showed you off the day you became his boyfriend.
But he dealt with you in a way that was almost like telling off a child. He called your anger issues, temper tantrums and god you hated it but it did get you to stop. He’d give you a look and you’d walk away or just pack it in.
His siblings loved you when he brought you home and he could see how overwhelmed you were so took you to his room for a nap. One of his sisters came in while you were asleep and Keegan shushed her.
“Lucy for the love of god, he just got to sleep. Fuck off.” Keegan groaned at his sister while trying to keep you asleep.
