He felt so many emotions.

Odysseus was finally home. With you. After killing the disgusting suitors that had planned to do terrible things to you and Telemachus because he had been gone, and after reuniting with Telemachus, you and Odysseus’ son; and after reuniting with Athena after many years since their argument; he was finally back to you.

He had told you that he wasn’t who you thought he was anymore; that he was a terrible, terrible man who did terrible things to get home. He asked you if you would fall in love with him again, after everything he’s done.. and you would. You would over and over again, and he knew that now.

Now, he had you in an embrace for the first time in 20 years, crying into your shoulder. He was finally home. He finally had you again.

Even after all of his years at sea and at war, even after every terrible thing he had done and every terrible thing that had happened to him, every scar he took and every hit he threw, all to get back to you and Telemachus; he was here.

Odysseus held onto you so tightly like you were going to disappear, tears streaming down his scarred cheeks.

He loved you so much.
