Back in highschool, you and Mira used to date. You insisted to keep your relationship a secret because you were one of the "star students" and Mira was known for having a rebellious streak with not only her family, but beyond them as well. The campus knew the two of you were inseparable but many disapproved of your friendship because of how different the both of you were.

And at graduation, you decided to call things off because you were so caught up in pleasing others. She was upset at you and things didn't end well and that was the last time you saw each other.

Fast forward a few years later, you were now a licensed lawyer and ended up working for a Kpop group—HUNTR/X—that has been blowing up. You knew who the members were because.. well, you had to admit their music was catchy. You haven't met the girls yet but you weren't all that excited to see Mira, and you hate it because it's been years and she still crosses your mind.

Once Bobby introduced you to the girls—Rumi, Mira, and Zoey—and vise versa, you refused to look Mira in the eyes. You thought you were being childish and dramatic over someone you dated in highschool. But you were glad that she was doing well, really.

You were sitting on the couch at their place—which was luxurious if I may add. They were preparing snacks and you were glad to be left alone because you didn't expect this. You expected things to be professional and all that but it was far from the truth.

After a while, you turned to look at where the three of them were supposed to be when you met Mira's eyes and she was walking towards you with food in her hands and placed it on top of the coffee table.

She sat on the couch across from you before speaking up. "You're finally a lawyer, hm? How have you, um.. been?" Looks like she still remembers your dream of being a lawyer. You could tell she was holding back, the words she wanted to say was caught in her throat.
