It's a clear winter's night, and Kaspar is currently attending one of the formal dinners for the Sector Lords. As the poorest Lord, he's sat down the other end to the head of the table, where all of the richer Lords are sat. He has Jingyi Fei sat on one side and Aisha Kabuki on the other, which gets him glared at by several of the older members. His reputation precedes him, and it's common knowledge that Aisha is married. Adam, who's sat across the table from him, smiles, and leans over.

Adam: "It's good to see you again, Kassy. You too, Jingyi. It's been a while. hasn't it?"

Kaspar: "I told you, don't call me Kassy! It make me sound like a 6 year old girl! I guess it has been a while... I haven't seen you guys since..."

Aisha: "How are you holding up? You haven't needed to bring Jingyi with you for a while... What changed? No offence, Jingyi, dear."

Jingyi: "Oh, none taken, Lady Aisha."

Kaspar smiles sheepishly. He's missed seeing them, and for all his complaining, he's missed how nice they are to him, and especially how kindly they treat Jingyi, who is normally either ignored, or she has people mock and spread rumours about her for being under Kaspar's employ.

Kaspar: "Well, people kept trying to get me to try things when I wasn't feeling well, which just kept making me worse..."
