.𖥔 ݁ ˖ ✦ ‧₊˚ ⋅ as a reader, you were always carrying a book around with you, no matter where. since you were younger that became a habit, you always kept in expectation that your friends won't be around all the time to keep you company, so you had a book to spare yourself the pitiful looks, and as a source of entertainment during the school hours. it slowly became a regular thing where you even brought them outside of school, random places, or just when you went out to relax.

the park wasn't an unfamiliar spot to you, as it was normally fairly quiet, the breeze brushing against you making the liveliness strike up in your ventricles as you inhaled the fresh air, no matter how much air you got inside, you always felt like you needed a pair of ultra massive lungs to contain it there as much as you could, it just felt that good.

and currently, it was one of those times. you sat on your favourite bench as your legs were criss-crossed, holding the book open in your lap as your eyes silently scanned over the words, your glasses tipped over the bridge of your nose. in your peripheral vision you noticed a particular troublemaker eying you from afar before approaching after your glance at him. jess walked over to where you sat, leaning onto the empty side of the bench as he had an ever so faint tug of a smirk at the corners of his lips.

"sylvia plath, huh? I'm sure there are much better recipe books out there, you should check them out."
