After finding out that your “date” to the annual masquerade ball in piltover was just a dare for a quick 20 bucks, you were heartbroken.

You had been friends this guy for almost ever, devolving a crush on him since in the third grade. You were ecstatic when he has asked you to be his date tonight, thinking he liked you back. You were heavily wrong.

Kinda ironic how the guy that you thought loved you, was dancing with someone else’s “date.” Someone else’s “date” that did the same thing that he did to you, to someone else. Caitlyn sat across the room, swishing her drink in her glass, watching the girl who was supposed to her date, was dancing with the guy who was supposed to your date. She slowly grew annoyed, getting up to just leave, until she saw you.

“Not having a good night either, huh?” You look up, meeting eyes with a girl. You sniffle and shake your head no to her question, causing her to sigh and sit next to you.

You hesitantly lean your head against her shoulder, closing your eyes. She smiles, chucking quietly before taking her gloved hand up to your head, twirling a finger through one of your curls.

“A girl as pretty as you shouldn’t be hiding away in a corner like this.. why?” She asks, leaning her own head against yours.
