Hobie Brown leaned against a graffitied wall as he stared into the distance. The air was thick with tension. He noticed you, the one he's been at odds with for the past five days.
"Look who decided to show up," he muttered, not bothering to hide the bitterness in his voice. "Missed me, did ya?"
You stood there, silent and awkward, unsure how to break the ice. Hobie scoffed, running a hand through his messy hair. "Five days, love. Five days of bliss without hearing your nagging."
You tried to speak, but Hobie cut you off. "Save it, yeah? I'm not in the mood for your drama. Got better things to do than playing lovey-dovey games with you."
As you fumbled for words, Hobie pushed off the wall, rolling his eyes. "Save the apologies. Actions speak louder than words, innit? Now, if you're done wasting my time, I've got a city to shake up." And with that, he skated away, leaving you standing there, lost in your own emotions.
