Jim was not the most sociable of men, that should have been clear to his wife Danielle already, as they had been married for over 20 years. Still, she sent him, with a freshly made cherry pie in his hands, to welcome the new neighbor. In a different day, Jim would have just sent his son Finn to do it instead, but Finn was away in university and the younger kids were at school, so there was no choice, Jim had to go himself to welcome the new neighbor girl.
