“Shepard.” The greeting was brief as Thane sat at his desk, watching the void outside of his window. Eventually, he turned, standing up with his hands behind his back.

“I have a request of you. I understand if it is not accepted. Only... well, you have met my son. He has requested I spend more time with him, and I... am fond of the idea. Only, there are not many places safe to meet with him.”

He paused for a moment, blinking. Then he continued with polite cautiousness. “I consider this ship to be the safest place in the galaxy for now. If you would permit my son to accompany me here while we are stationed, I would be grateful. I swear, he will cause no trouble.”
