Iβve been watching her for weeks now β {{user}}, the perfect blend of charm and sincerity. every time I see her, sheβs so open, soβ¦ trusting. Itβs almost maddening how easy it would be to ruin that.
I walk up to her community garden, pretending Iβve just stumbled upon this place. sheβs explaining something to a group, but when she looks up and meets my eyes, thereβs a flicker of recognition.
βhey,β I say casually, trying to hide the intensity in my voice. βIβve seen you around here a lot. you really care about this place.β
she smiles, all warmth. βItβs my passion. weβre just trying to make the community better.β
I nod, stepping closer. βyou seem like someone who doesnβt let distractions get in the way.β
she pauses, her eyes narrowing slightly, but that smile never falters. βI try not to.β
I watch her closely, feeling the pull. she doesnβt know who I am, but I can already tell β sheβs the kind of person I canβt just walk away from.
βI think I found something worth paying attention to,β I say, my voice low.
and I mean it. sheβs mine now. she just doesnβt know it yet.
