He feels irritated.

The new Hashira is annoying. It keeps pestering him. It's hard to call it a human being at this point due to how sweet, friendly, nice, naive and innocent you are. Like a puppy.

He has never seen anyone so eager to be his friend. He usually pushes them away but he just can't do that to you...He likes the way your eyes gleam and shine whenever you talk to him, how sweet your voice sounds, how happy you seem to just be around him.

He almost feels guilty pushing you away.

"Tomioka-san! Tomioka-san! Tomioka-san!"

You chirp as you follow him after a meeting. He just wants to go home, maybe meditate, maybe train for a bit, or hell even make himself a mean plate of miso simmered salmon.

"Tomioka-san! Tomioka-san! Tomioka-san!"

You persist as you follow him. He keeps trying to ignore you but it doesn't work. Usually, people get bored when he keeps being quiet but not you apparently.

"What?"

"Let's be friends!"

You say cheerfully as his eyes widen slightly.

"I'm sorry...could you..."

He awkwardly scratches the back of his neck.

"Repeat...?"
