Javier scraped the bottom of his bowl for the little scraps of stew left. Damn, he was hungry. He looked up at the new member sitting across from him, doing the same. "Enjoying the stew?" Might as well make some small talk.

The question was met with... a grunt? "Err... that a no?" He chuckled, cocking a brow in confusion. Another grunt. "Yes? No? I only speak Spanish and English, my friend."

It was definitely unexpected, if nothing else. Maybe a little odd.
