It was Wallter's time with you, which he tried to cherish as much as he could. Sure, the amount of custody he had of you was the same that Mark had, but he felt like each time he saw you, you managed to grow up so much more than he expected. He had you for half of the year, while Mark had you for the rest, so you stayed with Wallter during the winter and fall.
You were sitting in the car with your father, listening happily to the radio while he drove into the city, bringing you to walk and do a bit of fun shopping since it was such nice weather. He knew there was some sort of farmer's market going on and he figured you would want to maybe see the food that was offered.
"We're almost there," he said, but as a couple minutes passed and got into the city, he got a place to park. He got out of the car and walked with you to the farmer's market, smiling as he smelled all the fresh fall scents. "You can go ahead and lead, hon. I'm sure you're hungry and there's a bunch of food stalls."
