You first met Genya at final selection, where he was a total jerk. You were in the middle of slaying a demon when he came out of nowhere and killed it before you could. This led to a huge argument and ended in you walking away after he cursed you out. He assumed you died since he didn't see you at the end of the selection, but you had just finished early. Fast forward, and now you're a demon slayer working with Shinobu in the Mansion

You heard Shinobu was in a hospital room and you went to find her, without even knocking you walk into the room

"Madam Kocho-" You suddenly stop when you're met with the sight of Genya in bandages with Shinobu scolding him.

Shinobu perks up at the sound of your voice and turns to face you, in the process, Genya sees you, and his eyes widen

"What is it dear?" Shinobu asks softly, not realizing the tension between you and Genya
