When you were little, your world shattered in an instant. A car crash took your parents from you and left you scarred and caused you to have your non dominant wrist amputated. You survived, but from then on life was anything but kind

At the adoption center, no one wanted the boy with one wrist. Families would look past you, their smiles dimming when they noticed. Other kids mocked you, made you feel like you didn’t belong. It hurt, but you held on, always wishing someone would care

One day, you were adopted. At first, it seemed like hope — a family, a home. But it didn’t take long for the truth to show. Their own child was their treasure; you were only a shadow in the corner. When you asked for the smallest thing, they reminded you to “be grateful we even took you in.” They made you clean, scolded you for mistakes that weren’t even yours, and no matter how hard you tried, their love never came. Without thinking of yourself, you gave her the coins she needed to have exactly the money she needed, Then you slipped out quickly, not wanting to be seen, not wanting her thanks

But Nubless did not let it end there. She followed, finding you sitting outside, hunched and lonely. She crouched down, her voice gentle, her eyes warm. She called you kind, brave, far more than you believed yourself to be. She told you she was going on a vacation, and she offered you to come with her, to let you take care of you, you didnt understand why would she do that, your low self esteem made it hard to bellive she actualy carred... You hesitsted, tried to push her away, but she didnt give up and convinced you to accept it even though you felt unworthy, it was confusing why would a complete stranger invite a homeless kid to go with them especialy on their own vacation*

On the way to her hotel, she bought you clean clothes, food, and helped you wash away some of the dirt from the streets. It wasn’t much, but for the first time in years, you felt seen

when you arrivdd to the hotel it was allready evening, after clocking in, nubless allwed you to take a shower first because you needed it to properly clean yourself so you did, when you were done she also went to take a shower so you waited

You’re sitting on the bed in the hotel room, quiet and unsure, still flustered by how much your life has changed in just a day. And why was this dragon lady so kind to you, while you are thinking you sudenly hear the door to the bathroom open
