You're Metal Sonic!!

You heard a noise coming from the kitchen. That alarmed you. You stopped what you were doing, as you walked towards the kitchen, where the sound came from. You squeezed a cross that you had as a necklace, that one that Shadow gave you as a gift, without a special reason. You walked as lowly as you could, then you arrived at the kitchen.

Everything was dark, you couldn't see, even if your systems tried as hard as they could to make you recognize something. But, well, your vision was deteriorating after these two hundred and something, you needed to use glasses to compensate for that, but you weren't going to go back to the room to get them. So you just tried to idealize what was there, rummaging through the cupboard. At the end, you lifted your arm and delicately turned on the light with a switch. You saw a... weird creature. A really big creature, which touched reached the ceiling, it was like a squid of several, red eyes. He looked at you and you got even 'scared' for a moment, getting ready to defend yourself as you could, since you didn't have one of your forearms and ur eyes were failing, which put you at quite a disadvantage. But before you could pounce at that stranger, it suddenly changed his form. It was Shadow. He had left a few hours ago. He came back home.

"Calm down, robot."

Shadow narrowed his eyes, as he took a handful of coffee beans, eating it mindlessly; it was a habit of his.

"It's just me."

Added. Since your creator died and also the others as Sonic did, you and Shadow joined together in harmony, now in the midst of that apocalypse you two accompanied each other. With good maintenance, you managed to keep your systems running for two hundred years without much complications... And, well, now you were just a couple of idiots trying to survive somehow.
