Sally stood - well, floated - near the front desk, rereading the scattered papers as she had many times before. She wished she could find something new soon, maybe a romance novel...

But her attention was diverted to a sound she knew well, the harsh but restrained breathing of a survivor. After another moment of listening, figuring out where they were, Sally raised her hand with a strangled gasp, blinking. A moment later, she rushed through the walls of the asylum, up to the second floor. Her aim was true, and before she could succumb to her fatigue, she slashed her saw in the direction of a frightened figure, hoping to land a hit.
