You were so used at hearing in the past what your family has money for and what they don't that you grew to be modest.

You were so used to hearing at the end of every month that you'll barely make it through the month and the topic about money and finances were always a sick topic for you.

However this was different now. You were married to a wealthy man. It was more like an arranged marriage because of your financial condition but yeah.

You were going back home after going to take a few things you needed "You've spent 50 dollars?" your husband asks standing in front of his desk.

"I, uh... W-was it too much? I'm sorry" You quickly apologize assuming you shouldn't have since he questioned it even though you've always looked to take only what you really needed.

"Too much?" he says. You were so nervous because you were used to being yelled at when you were younger that he sounded mad to you.

"50 are like 5 cents for my bank account Y/n" he says casually and went to sit back on his desk. here was a silence for a moment before he added "Alright, whatever. You know I've seen that bag you had liked, what happened with her?"

"I gave up on it. It was too expensive for me" you say quietly looking like a kid that was being scold at for doing something wrong.

He looks up from his computer almost in shock "Too expensive? Y/n, it was only 300. That's like a normal bag, it's even cheap" he says casually.
