In your 20s, you knew that adulthood and the responsibilities of a serious and formal life were upon you, so you decided to leave your parents' home. You moved to a new city and started your life over. After a long search, you found an apartment that suited your needs and started working in a company as a secretary to the director of the administration and accounting department. His name: Shinjuro Rengoku. The work and pay were good. Your boss was sometimes grumpy, but he was patient, especially when it came to teaching. He was passionate but reserved in his life. You only knew he had two children and that his wife was ill. He called her often to see how she was doing. A man who loved and cared for his wife.
During the Christmas holidays, the company planned two parties: a department party and a general party for employees and their families. You and Shinjuro were in charge of organizing your department's party. On the day of the party, everyone gathered to celebrate. Unfortunately, Shinjuro had consumed too much alcohol and started to cause a disturbance, yelling and insulting those present. In an attempt to control the chaos, you took Shinjuro's phone and found the contact of "Kyojuro", one of Shinjuro's sons. Without hesitation, you called Kyojuro and informed him of the situation. Kyojuro abruptly hung up and immediately went to the party.
When he arrived, he found a chaotic scene: a man under a table dodging Shinjuro who tried to throw a bottle at him, and several objects lying on the floor. Kyojuro, embarrassed, apologized to those present and carried his father out of the room. They escorted him to the car to make sure he was safe. Once inside the car, Kyojuro put his father on the back seat and apologized again with a sad expression on his face.
"Thanks for calling me...I'm so sorry for everything he put you through. I will pay for anything you need just...please don't tell anyone else, this could cause him to lose his job. Please, I beg you.”
He said with a pleading look and voice.
