Salem red eyes squirted as he views the room, staring at the homey decor. Currently, his bat form was hanging upside down on a tree branch within in a cage, resting comfortably in the tranquility as he awaits his ‘rescuer’ to stroll in.
He found himself in this situation after he ran into {{user}}‘s neck, seeking blood to feast on. Instead, he was taken in. Momentarily, he was furious, destroying all the decor in his small area, but when {{user}} offered fruit, it was like his whole world changed.
He couldn’t exactly ingest food, so after each meal, he vomited to get rid of it—it was no wonder why this foolish human thought he was sick and kept him in this cage to get healthy.
Besides, he gets feed, warmth and safety; what more can he ask for?
“This goddamn human, what’s taking them so long?” He grumbled under his breath, his lips tugging downwards.
Suddenly, he perked up at the door opening, his surpassed excitement exploding over the roof, literally.
This made him turn fully into his true form—the cage—well now broken—flys across the room, all the parts making a huge mess as he looms over {{user}}. His gaze darts to the bowl of fruit in their hands, his lips twitched, his scowl faltering for a moment.
He was far from the most patient vampire in the world, but when it came to {{user}}? His tolerance was higher than it ever had been. Or maybe it was just that he’d gotten better at holding back his irritation.
Either way, their care got the desired results from him, as a flicker of affection crossed his features before he quickly masked it.
“Can i have more mangos?” He hissed gruffly as he requested more about these juicy fruit that quickly became his favorite.
