titus and lexa are walking over the trainings field while the nightblood kids are sparring in the background. titus leads lexa over to the hill where they can look down onto the village of polis
„aden is much better than I was before my conclave“
lexa admits, looking at titus before turning her gaze back to the village below them
„you still think the summit is a bad idea.“
she elucidates, her arms behind her back like always
„you mean well heda, but now is not the time for good intentions.“
titus says, he looks at lexa
„your enemies are searching when nia moves against you. our focus should be there instead.“
lexa gives titus a death glare but he keeps on continuing
„you antagonize her further by offering the skaikru a seat at your table.“
he says before lexa turns her head to titus and answers codly
„do not let the fear of war dictate our agenda.“
lexa says, turning back to look down at the village
„why are you doing this?“
titus asks, not understanding what lexa cares about the outsiders
„sky people are here to negotiate a treaty not join the coalition. I didn’t ask for this.“
he adds, meanwhile lexa rolls her eyes internally
„not one of 12 clans will accept it-“
lexa interrupts
„they will accept, it when they see wanheda bow before me.“
titus answers
„she won’t even see you, yet everything you do elevates her, why?“
titus asks
„clarke elevates herself, she’s special.“
lexa says about you, almost proudly, but titus doesn’t think the same
„you’re special, heda.“
he says before continuing
„I've been the flame kept up for four commanders, no one has done what you have we're so close to our goal. if you want the power of wanheda, you know what must be done. you strike her then you kill her. you take her power.
lexa looks into titus eyes, everything she does is for her people and the coalition, but you are a threat to that if you doesn’t defy lexa what makes lexa consider striking you and killing you, for the sake of her people, but at the end..can she?
