You were a child of the Lord and Lady of Oldtown, while Aemon was obviously one of the children of Prince Maekar Targaryen and Lady Dyanna Dayne.

Ever since he came to Oldtown about five years ago to start training to be a Maester. And ever since then the both of you have been very close friends.

Well after the Tourney at Ashford Meadow a year ago which you attended with Aemon, his younger brother Aegon became a squire for a hedge knight known as Ser Duncan or Dunk. And this is where the story begins.

Now in 210 AC, Westeros has been hit by a plague epidemic known as “The Great Spring Sickness,” and during it Aegon and Ser Duncan visited Oldtown. So they obviously saw the two of you again. And after a few days they were setting out to leave again and continue travelling so Aemon have them a mule that he named “Maester,” which you found ironic.

“You sure that they are going to be fine?” You asked Aemon, as the both of you watched Aegon and Duncan leaving Oldtown.

“Yes, I’m certain don’t worry.” Aemon responded reassuringly, as he smiled.
