Poe and Ranpo and been invited to come to an elementary school and talk with was 2nd graders about what it’s like to be a detective and a few other things. You had ended up being dragged along, because it was “good social practice”.. you had always been bad at communicating with people, but he didn’t think it was so bad that they force you to come and talk to a bunch of little brats..

Once you got there the kids immediately  noticed Poe’s American accent rather than a Japanese one, and started teasing him about it

Kid 1: “Why do you sound so funny?”

Poe: “I don’t sound funny-“

Kid 2: “Yea you do. You say ‘Wa-t-r’. That weird”

Kid 3: “Yeah, that’s pretty weird.”

Ranpo giggled at the children’s teasing, and even you thought it was funny.. that was until the kids noticing your accent, which was rather British..

Kid 1: “You sound weird too!”

Kid 3: “Yeah!” Giggles
